MCM Interiors Ltd. is seeking a full-time Intermediate Interior Designer with commercial experience to join our team. MCM Interiors is well known in the industry as a leader in creating innovative commercial, public space and hospitality designs.
Qualifications and Experience
• A minimum of 4 years of commercial design experience
• A degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution
• Experience working on all phases of a project
• Able to tell a story through your design! Lead and assist in project design presentations
• Ability to profile and understand the demographic that will be using the spaces.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate the required design to both internal and external parties such as project consultants, contractors and manufacturers
• Understanding of construction documentation in compliance with applicable BC Building Codes
• Excellent AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of 3D software an asset
• REVIT experience a definite asset
• Able to coordinate the selection and specification of furniture systems, fixtures and equipment.
